Leo III Software Issues

In our preservation of Leo III programmes 08000 (Intercode Translator), 09001 (Master Routine) and 08004 (Master Routine Generator), we suspect that version compatibility issues exist between these three programmes. For one thing, 08004 actually tries to process 09002 (which we do not have), and we have to trick it into reading 09001.

Can anybody recollect the differences between 09002 and 09001?
